Currently, I’m working on suicide detection and prevention within social networks. The aim is to design and implement new methods and technologies for the early identification of individuals at risk from massive data. This Postdoc is the result of a collaboration with the Departement of Psychiatric Emergencies and Post-Acute Care of Montpellier (CHU de Montpellier).
As a result, the models, tools and techniques for the detection of suicidal profiles will be used by psychiatrists to follow patients who have stayed in their services after a first suicide attempt. Check out the website of our project for more details.

New : our work DARE to Care : A Context-Aware Based Framework to Track Depression and Suicide Ideation on Social Media has been accepted as a short paper in The 18th International Conference on Web Information Systems Engineering, WISE 2017 (October 7-11, Russia).

My research interests include:

  • Information Retrieval and Text Mining
  • Data Mining and Machine Learning
  • Social Networks Analysis
  • Natural Language Processing
